NEW (14/07/08) - For those applicants who have already been notified of their success:

  1. For our records, we would still like you to send confirmation of student status as soon as possible. This can be faxed to +61 2 9772-6040 or emailed to general_chair@interspeech2008.org.
  2. Please still fill in the offline registration form and fax it to + 61 7 3369 3731 or email it to Megan Knowles at megan@ccm.com.au.

ISCA and the organising committee of Interspeech 2008 will offer a limited number of grants for attending this conference. ISCA financially supports students and young scientists to participate in ISCA sponsored workshops and conferences relevant to speech and language. The support covers early registration and possibly accommodation costs, while transportation costs are covered only in exceptional cases. Applicants from all countries are eligible.

Grants for participation in Interspeech 2008 will be administered by the ISCA Board with the aims of assuring a broad representation of the scientific topics of the conference and as wide a cross-section of the international speech community as possible.

For further details and to apply for a grant, please go to the ISCA Student website.
